Congrats Sampa The Great & Tio Nason on a Grammy project
Angelique Kidjo‘s “Mother Nature” won best global music album at the 2022 Grammy awards and Zambia’s very own Sampa The Great and Tio Nason featured on the project.
Angélique Kidjo‘s “Mother Nature,” which happens to be her first album in 7 years won the “Best Global Music” album at the 64th Grammy Award.
The 61 year old singer beat seven other nominees including Arooj Aftab, Burna Boy, Femi Kuti, Tems, Wiz Kid & Yo-Yo Ma to scoop the award.
Zambia’s Sampa The Great and Tio Nason were credited on this Grammy winning project. The former was credited as an associated performer, featured artist and songwriter while the latter got credit as an associated performer and background artist.
