K’Millian needs financial management counselling – Thomas Sipalo
A lot have been said over my legendary musician K’millian who also happens to be my colleague both in and outside the arts.
I would really like to thank all those who’ve pledged and those who’ve help him already.
Though I strongly feel hand outs isn’t the best way to help him,what he need first before all these monies start flocking in,is change of attitude,I feel he needs more psychological counseling before materials been pledged,yes he will be given money and cars today,the question is,will he be able to manage and maintain his money and cars wisely?
Maintaining cars like a Benz need financial stability,what our brother need is some sort of an income generating business ideas, where he will be able to have some inflow of cash on a monthly basis to help him restart his life as he undergo some counseling,giving him money and cars as a one off thing without anyone to help him understand that the next help might never come will be too catastrophic.
Let’s help him restart his life, but let’s also remind him that this help won’t be in perpetuity,he should manage the little that he will get wisely,this is a second opportunity of his life time,therefore he must handle it with care…
I pledge to sit him down and have a tete-a-tete man to man…
