Ukumbukenge Kukaya is a Tumbuka phrase that translates: remember where you come from & it was the song that reminded us all of our roots.
Mozy B was a pioneer of Tumbuka songs & his songs were mainstream both in Zambia & Malawi across the border.
The singer was involved in a fatal accident after the boat they where in overturned & subsequently he failed to swim ashore.
