Where is the 15 Million cancer kids donation Money – Namadingo
NAMADINGO has been put to the stands to explain some questions after the Malawian media houses raised some eye brows about the 15 Million Million Kwacha he had fished for a cancer hospital donations never made it to the destination.
The case traces back to 2017 when Namadingo had gone to make small performances in order to draw some stakeholders and well wishers/individuals to jump on the wagon and help out the children’s cancer hospital.
Indeed, the Dr, did some small performances in the said organizations and offices in which he charged some K3000 and later the amount would be directed to the hospital, the Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital.
The campaign took about 40 Days according to some Nyasa Media house reports.
It came to light that the money never made it when when the Director at the hospital followed up the matter but discovered that non of the money was deposited to the hospital after Namadingo announced that he had made the said K15 Million.
Mr Adrian Chikumbe the Healthy Ministries spokesperson also spoke to notify the public that indeed they had not received any payments from Dr. Namadingo.
” I can confirm that we did not receive a single penny from that amount”
Chikumbe said.
The social media went buzzing and sourced Namadingo who later had a live video exculpating himself what happened to the money.
However, Namadingo explained in a live video that the 12 Million Kwacha was never released by those who pledged, it is because that Namadingo was never receiving cash but had directed those well wishers to make check payments or to directly pay the suppliers for the Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital Pediatric equipment.

“As we speak, 12Million, still lies with the well wishers as we speak” said Namadingo.
Though in twist turn of events, some of the bank which was involved the CDH Investments Bank refuted the claims by Namadingo that the Funds was not released to him when it’s records shows that infact the money was subsequently released on 31st March 2017.
We are yet to hear the people’s verdict on this and also await to see if Namadingo will prove himself innocent.
