1. Who is Kaniz?
Kaniz is a creative Lyricist, Producer, Song Writer and artist born and raised in the ghettos of Zambia with a strong purpose to take our culture kuchalo.
2. How would you describe your style of music? (Given that you flow differently – lyrically & delivery)
My style of music is drawn from my spirit. A perfect self expression my inner self.
3. Where do you draw inspiration from for your lyrics
I draw my inspiration from life experiences, my family, my imagination, God and the future are what I draw inspiration from
4. Can fans expect an album from Mr Kaniz this year, 2023.
Not my Fans, But my family should expect the best of musical artistry. I am not holding back any more music. The best of the best.
5. Are any of your songs based on real events or people we might know? If so, can you tell us more about them without giving away too many details about the song itself?
All my songs are based on true and real events, what I put in my songs has roots in my memories which is interpreted on the beat
6. Was there anything in particular that inspired you when writing ”Peer Pressure”?
Yes. It’s a true story. So i just tapped back into that reality. And put it on paper then into the compute. Jorzi added some color to it as well. Salute. This should go under the Did You? Know List Lol

7. Do you have any weaknesses that you’re actively working to improve on?
Like most of these rappers, we all have our weaknesses, but my only weakness is delivering too much fire most people cannot withstand.
8. Describe your worst performance. What did you learn from this experience?
One time when I was performing live on stage, I forgot my lines. Reason is: I did not prepare adequately, from that on I learned that preparation is the key to successful stage work.
9. Have you ever done a love song, if not, why?
Yes, I have done a love song. Nefi pondo filapona mu love. This song is about one you can not expect to find them in romantic play because of their gangster way of life & how they are always perceived, but they find themselves falling for that one girl.
10. Is the industry a fair game like you expected it to be?
Unfortunately no, I came to learn that Life is not fair. Everyday is a war. And God fights all the battles for us. I will win. It’s my destiny.
