Cholera Cases (567+) – Zambia Loses 27 People In The Last 24Hrs
A concerning report reveals that within the last 24 hours, twenty-seven individuals have succumbed to Cholera-related cases, causing shock and alarm.
Health Minister Sylvia Masebo has officially reported these grim statistics following a nationwide assessment. The majority of the fatalities, 26 to be precise, occurred in Lusaka, while one was reported in Kabwe.
A staggering 567 new cases have been recorded Ms. Masebo reported. with 504 emanating from Lusaka alone. Ms. Masebo provided assurance that government is tirelessly addressing the situation.
More than 350 people discharged. Ms. Masebo expressed confidence in the dedication of health workers, in the past 24 hours.Â
Currently, 1,059 Cholera Cases are receiving treatment in various health facilities. The minister emphasized the urgent need for comprehensive measures.Â
People are encouraged to take measures. This will help in the fight against cholera. Wash your hands after using the toilet. Wash your foods with running water. Chlorinate your water before drinking or boil it. If we take part in this fight, cases of Cholera will decrease.
