It has become a norm in Zambia that if you own a sim card, definitely you will get a message from an unknown number asking you to either deposit money to another number or buy a service from a Witch doctor & ZICTA nor Zambian police seemed to be doing anything about it.
Sadly, many unsuspecting people have fallen prey to this scam & have eventually lost money through the same channel.
For those that have made formal complaint to the respective department might have well followed that the authorities were slowly clamping down the culprits.

True to their words, it seems the Scammers days reign of terror are coming to an end. In today’s trending video, Zed Celebrity Update official reports:
”The Tokota boys who send ama messages for ukupanga 
impiya sha ma jik and offering military recruitment as well as social money cash transfer schemes have been arrested
Among the list of 20 kabolala’s, 5 were found with ifima charms.”
