The highly anticipated fourth studio album by rapper AKA, entitled “Mass Country“, has been released posthumously with the blessings of his family.
The album features a unique blend of country, maskandi and hip-hop music, paying homage to South African icons and evoking feelings of patriotism.
AKA’s team spent two years working on the album, which was recorded in several locations across the country and features collaborations with local and international artists, including Sjava, Blxckie, Nadia Nakai, and KDDO.
AKA’s rare musicality and vision are said to have brought out the best in his collaborators, resulting in a cohesive and moving album.
