Let’s dig into music, today we have a fresh release from Drimz and it features Apa Ili So Entertainment lyric monster Jae Cash and its entitled “For You Alone“.
Its a love melody, the song has a tuneful rhythm, pitch-perfect vocals with heartwarming lyrics by Drimz as the singer expresses how sweet his relationship is “Sugar banana ukulowa kwati ni banana” (Sugar banana sweet like banana) and assures his lover to be his best friends.
Jae Cash does what he’s good at, he delivers a punchy lyrical verse. His word play and rhyming style is just outstanding.
First wait, the release date of this song was postponed, it was supposed to be released on 22nd Feb but it was rescheduled to the 28th because , Jae Cash lost his Babe Mama.
Maybe Cash’s verse was for His Babe Mama, the lyrics are genuine and lovely, its not been easy for the Rapper, I guess that’s why they postponed the release date, the loss of the Love of your life hits deep. Sending deepest heartfelt condolences to the Rapper.
The flip side of the song is that it doesn’t sound fresh its the usual Drimz sound that he has been serving us for years now.
Apart from that “For You Alone” was a nice song worth listening. But if you’re hoping to hear something fresh, look somewhere else
