King Illest shares his thoughts on international artists having big shows ahead of local artist
King Illest has finally opened up about how he feels with international artists tripping in the country for shows that should be handed to Zambian artists.
Illest laments that these weekend shows by international artists are killing the industry. Suggesting that, if they are given to local artists, can give a chance for these artists to improve and grow the Zambian industry.
Over the Past Weeks, Zambia has seen artists coming in from all over Africa to come and perform, the likes of Nasty C, Emtee, Joeboy, Rema and many others.
It later sparked some debates that Macky 2 being a big artist here in Zambia, shouldn’t have been the one to open the stage.
Macky 2 took some shots from Socialites like Chella Tukuta, who said Macky 2 degraded himself by doing so. He demanded that He should not call himself a legend and that he can not pull the same crowds as Rema did.
