Popular Zambian gospel singer Kings Malembe Malembe has addressed the uproar surrounding an obscene and controversial post that briefly appeared on his official social media page.
The now-deleted post, which allegedly involved a well-known socialite, caused major online buzz before it was swiftly taken down. In an exclusive with News Diggers, Kings explained that the offensive content was mistakenly uploaded by a foreign-based team managing his page.
“I wasn’t even aware of what had been shared on my page,” Kings stated, adding that he was at the hospital at the time. The gospel artist revealed the post was made in error during efforts to verify his page, claiming his team may have “pressed somewhere” by mistake. However, screenshots had already gone viral before the post was deleted, sparking debate, backlash, and concerns about digital responsibility among public figures.
