Police Confirm Dalisoul’s Arrest After Road Traffic Accident in Lusaka
Zambian hitmaker Dalisoul, popularly known as Mwana Wamu Komboni, has been arrested following a late-night road traffic accident involving a Zambia Police motorbike in Lusaka. The incident has quickly drawn public attention, given the artist’s prominence in the local music scene.
According to an official statement from the Zambia Police Service, the accident occurred on Monday, April 27, 2026, around 23:00 hours along Mosi-oa-Tunya Road, opposite Puma Filling Station. The crash involved a police motorbike ridden by Inspector Kwibisa Mbuye, who sustained slight injuries and was rushed to Maina Soko Military Hospital, where he is currently receiving treatment. The motorbike reportedly suffered significant front-end damage.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the collision happened after the driver of a Nissan Mitsuoka allegedly cut in front of the oncoming police motorbike. The driver, identified as Madalitso Phiri — confirmed to be Dalisoul — was unharmed but has since been arrested and formally charged.
