Ruff Kid And His Morbid Approach In The Music Industry (Read Article)

If there’s one artist who is always taken for being controversial for his honest and straight to the point with his comments, is non other than Ruff Kid, the great Money King.

While other artists will sometimes beat about the bush to raise concerned when things don’t go as they are supposed to be in the game, Ruff Kid goes straight to the point.

Lately, there has been some artists jumping from one label to another ever since the two giant record labels set up their camps, that isΒ  Kalandanya Music Promotions (KMP) and Nexus Music.

Ruff Kid has had his share of the “Leaving the labels” his solo journey was back on track after he had ditched the XYZ crew before.

But above all this, Ruff Kid seems to have an Odd thing about his way in the industry. We all know how some people would really not like to mention death or have the topic on their tables.

There’s an old saying that : “if you talk about death, then the grim ripper will come knocking at your door”

Well that’s not the case when it comes to Being “Morbid” musically. First Ruff Kid seems to have his ways about his art and how every time he goes Morbid it resonate with the current situation.

It first started back in 2014 with with the song he did with PJay titled “N’kamisiya” in this Jam Ruff Kid had lyrics that seem to dare Death itself. He described himself as “Mpalume” which means he is immortal. And went on to claim that he will never die.

In the video, he portrayed himself in a casket and claimed that if he died he should be buried face down, reason being that he never wanted to face his haters, implying that he will always be on the watch.

To top that, his live Performance on stage, he was carried in the casket and this shows that Ruff Kid is not afriad of death.

Back to present day, Ruff Kid has a new track he did with International Hip Hop artist Emtee from South Africa dubbed “keep on trying” while he was expecting that some fellow big artists to back him up, apparently non did. So Ruff Kid went Morbid Rogue again.

On his socials he posted ” Banja, Since no big artist has shared our Link. When I die they shouldn’t share my pictures. Which better artist can come out and take on the entire Music industry like that. There’s an old saying that goes: ” the dead can’t speak for themselves” well, better say it while you can.

Ruff Kid proves to be one of the greatest, fearless and one hard straight artist Zambia has ever had. His Morbid jokes or whatever points he brings to the table should not be taken for attention seeking or for clouts. He is for real and will always stick to his Guns.
