Zambian rapper Stepholic, who continues to make strides in the local music scene, has released the official visuals for his latest single, “Nilibe Time.” The new release is a hip-hop anthem that sees him team up with Y Cool, the rapper signed to Apa Ili So Entertainment, bringing together the two artists for a collaboration with a competitive lyrical edge.
On the track, Y Cool uses his verse to respond to fellow rapper Ndine Emma, adding a diss element to the song and bringing the ongoing lyrical exchanges within Zambia’s hip-hop scene into the spotlight. His contribution gives “Nilibe Time” an extra talking point, while Stepholic leads the release with his latest offering as he continues to build his presence in the industry.
The accompanying music video was directed by Sammie and Kingson Kaking, giving the collaboration a visual platform to match its hip-hop energy. With Stepholic and Y Cool joining forces on a track that combines rap delivery with lyrical rivalry, “Nilibe Time” adds another entry to the growing catalogue of releases keeping Zambia’s hip-hop conversation active.
