On “1Bo,” Super Kena speaks about friends who would rather humiliate someone when they are vulnerable instead of offering a helping hand. The song captures the frustration of discovering that some people around you may be more interested in watching you struggle than supporting you through challenging moments.
The message is summed up in Super Kena’s own words, “Nokufimba nafimba,” as he reflects on the experiences that have shaped his outlook and the reasons behind the situation he finds himself in. The record gives voice to the disappointment that comes when friendship is tested and support is needed the most.
The accompanying music video was shot by KNB Media House, giving “1Bo” a visual platform to complement its message.
