Zambian Artistes that have been MIA from the Music Scene

Some artistes started great with enough buzz at the early stage but end up disappearing from the scene without any trace, this post will uncover some  Zambian Artists that went Missing in Action (MIA) from the music scene after a moment of buzz.

Reflecting on the slippery nature of the industry, falling off relevance and being absent in the music conversations, however, below are the artists we keep wondering and wishing they get the buzz back again;

Brisky

Phales Kasongo popularly known as Brisky is a Zambian songwriter and rapper, then regarded as the Queen of rap and now yet to be replaced by any female. She gained dominance in 2013 after dropping her hit single β€˜Nfwitiβ€˜ Nonetheless, she continued releasing back to back hits till 2018 then went off from the scene

Eddie Black

Eddie Black, is a Zambian hip hop artist, he gained prominence in 2010, after the release of his hit single Bangumfweko  Featuring Peezey Cables.  

Eddie Black was then regarded as the best rapper in Zambia simply because his flows were unmatched, Eddie Black, however, disappeared from the music conversation after he switched to Gospel Music.

Lloyd Chirwa popularly known as Lloyd Kabovelo, is a Zambian video grapher, rapper and songwriter, he has production credits for several hits song.

Lloyd Kabovelo signed to XYZ Entertainment  record label , and also released his first hit single Kabovelo, Lloyd he’s a highly talented artiste, delivered a couple of great songs and disappeared from the scene, personally rooting for his comeback in the scene.

Jonny C

Jonny C , is a Zambian rapper,  songwriter, gained prominence after releasing his hit single β€˜Pwetetete one of the biggest songs of 2014. He was signed to XYZ ENTERTAINMENT record label, and He went on to release koliko featuring P Jay which was a nation wide banger but major reasons are linked to his slight disappearance on the music conversation.
