Zambian rapper Drifta Trek has teamed up with Chile Breezy on “Nshaye,” a heartfelt record in which he turns to God, asking for blessings and a breakthrough in life. The song captures the struggles of someone who has been working hard to improve their circumstances but has yet to see the results they desire.
On the record, Drifta Trek opens up about trying to make things work on his own, only to encounter one challenge after another. As he looks at the progress and blessings others are experiencing, he asks God to remember him too and give him an opportunity to experience a similar breakthrough.
“Nshaye” carries a message that many listeners can relate to, particularly those who feel their efforts are not paying off despite their determination to succeed. Through his heartfelt plea, Drifta Trek expresses hope for a change in his circumstances, placing his struggles in God’s hands and trusting that his time for blessings will eventually come.
The song features Chile Breezy, who joins Drifta Trek in bringing the emotional message to life. The official music video was directed by Fanwell, complementing a record centred on faith, perseverance and the hope for better days.
