Roberto Poverty Is Banned From YouTube With 1 Million Views
Roberto’s Poverty Taken Down By YouTube For Copy Rights Reasons
Roberto’s trending music video Poverty has been taken down from YouTube after Amassing one Million plus views from it’s release.
Poverty may have been removed due to a copyright issue involving Kenyan producer Roy Odero, also known as ODZZ.
Odero sells beats online under the producer name ODZZ, and the beat used in Roberto’s song, tagged as “Bad Bunny type beat Te Amor, may have been purchased or sampled without proper authorization. leading to the removal of the song.
The distinct elements of the beat, including certain keys, drums, and breaks, particularly during the bridge section where Roberto sings “some say I’m a golddigger,” are believed to be the focal points of the issue. Roberto, who enjoys a substantial fan base in East Africa, especially in countries like Uganda and Kenya, may have encountered the beat online and used it without securing proper rights or compensation, leading to the removal of the song.
We have not yet heard an official statement from Roberto regarding YouTube taking down the video. We hope it will be reinstated.
