Sampa The Great continues the rollout to her highly anticipated album Nu Zamrock with the release of “Location,” the third single from the upcoming project. The new offering follows “Can’t Hold Us” featuring Mwanjé and “Simon Says,” adding another chapter to Sampa’s evolving musical vision.
“Location” continues to explore the creative direction behind Nu Zamrock, a project deeply connected to Sampa The Great’s Zambian heritage and inspired by the rebellious energy and cultural significance of the legendary Zamrock movement. Through her distinctive lyricism, bold delivery and genre-bending approach, Sampa continues to draw from Zambia’s musical history while reshaping those influences through a contemporary global lens.
The accompanying official video further expands the visual world of the Nu Zamrock era, giving “Location” its own visual identity as Sampa builds anticipation for the full project. With each release, she continues to explore what Zamrock can represent in a modern context while introducing its spirit to a new generation of listeners around the world.
Nu Zamrock is scheduled for release on October 30, 2026, with “Location” now serving as the latest preview of what Sampa The Great has been creating. As the album date approaches, the new single further raises anticipation for a project centred on heritage, identity, experimentation and the evolution of Zamrock.
