Born Taurai Hazemba Moore, Rai is an international Contemporary R&B/ Pop Singer/Song-Writer. Having established himself as an on & off model and stylist in NYC who worked for the likes of Solange, DJ Quiana Parks, and Alicia Keys, It was not long before the London born Zambian decided to switch lanes and relocate back to his African roots in 2019 to focus on his budding career as a solo artist.
His music is heavily influenced by 90s R&B, European Pop, and Reggae and His main artistic themes include, Romance, Seduction, Heartache, and Everyday Life.
Rai is a musician who also showcases his vocal range and ability to perform onto heavy Drum & Bass, whilst remaining true to his soulful essence in his 2020 independently released debut single “Demonstraight”. The highly anticipated mixtape “777‘, includes tracks produced by Zambian Record Producer/ Hitmaker KB Killa Beats, and features artists from all around the globe.
